The Lab voids insurance. Anything you bring that dies in The Lab is gone. Leave high-tier gear in your stash.
The Lab is an underground Player-vs-Player map with no Scavs (only Raiders) and no insurance — if you die, your kit is gone forever. The entry costs one TerraGroup Labs access keycard (consumed on entry); the cheapest way in is via transit from Streets or Factory (set up in Tour's last step). The plant location is the 1F server room right next to the Black Keycard Lab double doors. Place the device, then stand there for the full 60-second plant timer — moving cancels it. Bring grenades to flush out anyone holding the room and a kit you're prepared to lose. Run-throughs don't work for plants, you must complete the plant action and ideally extract.
Recommended: medium-armour kit (Class 4-5), a suppressor, and an ear/eye protective helmet — Raiders are accurate at range. If you have friends, do this in a duo.
