Per the wiki: completion of preceding Boreas chapter quests gates this step. Confirm transport with BTR Driver, then board the hovercraft at the Shoreline pier — the transit fee is 400,000₽ per attempt, paid from raid inventory.

BSG quote (verbatim from the patch announcement): "Icebreaker is a separate location for 1-3 players, available in all game modes. There, you will face AI enemies either solo or as part of a group. You will not be matched with random players on Icebreaker." [Source: BSG Steam dev post] The hovercraft transit is one-way — once you board, you spawn on Icebreaker and play that raid as a new instance. Standard pre-raid Shoreline routing applies: spawn anywhere on Shoreline, fight or stealth your way to the pier, then approach the hovercraft. Bring 400k₽ in cash stacks (Rouble item). The fee is paid from raid inventory — losing the cash to a PMC before reaching the pier voids the attempt. After this step: You're on Icebreaker. The next four steps are on-map quests for Mechanic, Peacekeeper, and BTR Driver.
