Elektronik's key cannot be flea-purchased. The Bitcoin trade is the only way to get it. Don't burn time looking for a shortcut.
BTC sourcing: Bitcoin Farm is the canonical source (Hideout module — passive output). Killa, marked rooms, and Lab loot also drop them. Physical Bitcoin cannot be listed on the flea market, so plan to farm or pull from your existing stash. The trade itself has no FIR requirement.
Why the wait: the 12-24h delay between talking to Mechanic and handing over BTC is a real-world cooldown — start the dialogue as soon as the Lab fail triggers, then go do other things. Mechanic's response arrives in your messenger when ready.
