Fire a yellow flare in front of ULTRA Mall main entrance.

Stand in front of ULTRA Mall main entrance (north side of Interchange, yellow zone on the map) and aim skyward. The RSP-30 handheld fires on its own; the ZiD SP-81 signal pistol needs a 26x75mm yellow cartridge chambered first.
The flare summons a wave of NPCs to your location — that's not a bug, it's the next subtask. Bring this in the same raid as the 15-kills objective below: fire flare, then immediately go loud. Kit up like you mean it. PMC, decent armor (Class 4+), 60+ rounds of penetrating ammo, a thermal or NV scope helps because the responders push hard. Aim the handheld up but not straight up, or the flare lands behind you and the objective doesn't tick.
