Switching game modes (PvP ↔ PvE) or running practice/training raids during this phase can reset Fence's assignment progress. Stay on one mode until the chain is fully handed in.
Fence is Kerman's trusted contact in Tarkov and the gatekeeper for the next batch of objectives. You need to complete his assignment chain AND maintain Fence standing above 4.0 all the way through. After Fence's chain is delivered, the wait for his flash-drive mail is 36–48 in-game hours.
Fastest 4.0 farm: full Scav extracts on Customs and Shoreline — each surviving Scav extract is +0.01 to +0.02 — plus turning in Found-In-Raid items via Fence's hand-in list. Scav co-op extractions (the bridge on Woods, Scav Lands on Reserve) give the biggest jumps. Never kill Scavs as a PMC during this phase — every PMC-on-Scav kill drops Fence rep hard, and a single panicked headshot can undo an evening of farming.
